National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) board has approved the investment proposal for 1,320 MW Khargone thermal power project in Madhya Pradesh.
The board has given its approval to an appraised current estimated cost of Rs 9,870.51 crore for this plant. The approval is subject to Environment Clearance from the Ministry of Environment and Forests.
In addition, the board of directors has given its approval to NTPC’s proposal to set up 10,000 MW of renewable energy projects during the next five years.
