Northern Coalfields (NCL) has invited bids for the development of a resettlement and rehabilitation (R&R) site for the Jayant Expansion Project in Madhya Pradesh on a turnkey basis.
The contract, valued at Rs 40.9 crore, aims to provide modern housing and associated infrastructure for displaced families affected by the expansion of mining operations. The scope of work includes site preparation, construction of residential units, roads, drainage systems, water supply, electrification, and community facilities.
With a completion period of seven months from the date of award, the selected contractor is required to execute all civil, structural, and service-related works within the stipulated timeline. This initiative forms part of NCL’s broader commitment to sustainable mining practices and social responsibility, ensuring that affected communities are provided with adequate amenities and opportunities for improved living standards.
