Real estate major Omaxe has announced a Rs 1,200 crore investment to develop a 450-acre integrated township in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, marking a strategic push into Tier-II cities.
Announced on July 8, the project will be executed in phases and is projected to generate revenues of Rs 2,500 crore over the next three years. The township, located along Indore’s expanding Super Corridor, will feature a mix of residential plots, commercial spaces, retail areas, educational institutions, healthcare centres, hospitality zones, and public infrastructure. The development will be handled by Omaxe's subsidiaries. Mohit Goel, Managing Director, Omaxe said that the township is intended to be a “future-ready ecosystem.”
The project will be primarily funded through internal accruals. Omaxe has already delivered 15 projects in the state and plans to complete two more in the coming quarter. This Indore initiative follows a similar township announcement in Amritsar, highlighting Omaxe's focus on emerging urban centres.
