The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Haryana has invited bids for the upgradation of an existing 40 million litres per day (MLD) sewage treatment plant (STP) to a 60 MLD capacity facility in Rohtak.
The upgraded STP will incorporate the Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR) process and include several critical components aimed at improving wastewater treatment efficiency. The scope of work covers the installation, testing and commissioning of sludge scrapper a, motor pumping set and others, the addition of clarifiers, tanks, and tertiary treatment facilities, including disinfection and treated effluent utilisation infrastructure.
The total estimated cost of the contract is Rs 57.05 crore, with work completion timeline set at 24 months from the date of commencement.
The bid submission deadline is 23 July, 2025.
