Prajay Engineers Syndicate Ltd's (PESL) Water Front City in the Genome Valley at Shamirpet, has been inaugurated by Dr J Geetha Reddy, State Minister for Industries, Andhra Pradesh, on 11 October 2009.

The project comprised independent houses, studio apartments, conventional apartments and high-end villas. In Phase I, 400 villas are being built along with 150 independent houses and 600 flats on 72 acre at an investment of Rs 285 crore. While, PESL is likely to hand over 100 villas and 100 flats in Phase I by April 2010, another 1,500 flats and 500 independent houses are expected to be ready in Phase II entailing an investment of Rs 400 crore. The entire Water Front City project is likely to be completed by 2014.

This apart, PESL is developing two hotels and a mega residential project at an investment of Rs 600 crore in Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh. It has already commenced work on a 260-room hotel-cum-mall at L B Nagar which is expected to have two lakh sq ft of retail space. The company has teamed up with Best Western International for this venture.

Besides, the company is developing a three-star business hotel in Abids with 130 rooms and high-end business plaza in addition a mega residential project of 23 towers in Hi-Tech City, Madhapur. The residential project christened as Prajay Megapolis is expected to be launched in November 2009. The project encompass 3,060 flats are likely to be spread over on 22 acre. In all, there will be 23 towers of ground floor plus 19 storeys.
