Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) is poised for significant growth in India, particularly at key leisure destinations and airports, according to Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director & COO for South Asia.
RHG recently signed a deal to open its largest hotel in India yet, a 350-key Radisson Collection property near Navi Mumbai airport, set to open by Q4 of 2028. This marks RHG’s third property in Navi Mumbai. MD Sharma highlighted India’s growing aviation infrastructure, with the number of airports doubling over the past decade, making it a prime location for expansion.
The company is also close to signing agreements for hotels near two other strategic airports. RHG’s portfolio in India includes over 200 hotels, with 130 currently in operation and 70 in the pipeline across 80 cities. Additionally, the company signed 59 hotels in the last 18 months alone.
