SAEL Industries is set to invest Rs 22,000 crore across various sectors in Andhra Pradesh, marking a significant boost to the state's clean energy and industrial growth.
The investment, under a new MoU with the State government, focuses on renewable energy, biomass, data centres, and port infrastructure. The proposed projects include over 1,750 MW of solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Kadapa and Kurnool, a 200 MW biomass programme, and a Rs 3,000-crore hyperscale data centre. A Rs 4,000-crore port development will improve logistics and export efficiency.
The investments are expected to generate 7,000 direct and 70,000 indirect employment. SAEL Industries, already having commissioned 600 MW in just nine months, is poised to strengthen its presence and contribute significantly to the state's economy.
