SJVN has invited bids for the selection of wind power developers to set up 600 MW ISTS-connected wind power projects in India under a tariff-based competitive bidding process.
The initiative is part of India’s push towards clean energy expansion and renewable capacity growth, with projects to be implemented on a pan-India basis. Developers will be selected based on the lowest tariff offered, ensuring cost-efficient renewable energy generation.
The projects will contribute significantly to India’s renewable energy targets, supporting sustainability and reducing carbon emissions.The move aligns with the government’s renewable energy roadmap, leveraging private sector participation to scale wind power capacity across states.
Interested bidders must submit proposals before the closing date of 31 October, 2025.
