SPML Infra has bagged new orders worth Rs 772.20 crore from Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), of Rajasthan, and from Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB), Karnataka.
The company has received an order worth Rs 372.70 crore from PHED, Jodhpur, for work related to transmission mains for water supply scheme for 256 villages, and Bhinmal town of Jalore district under the Narmada ER Project scheme.
The other order, worth Rs 234.90 crore has been secured from PHED, Bharatpur, for development of regional water supply infrastructure for 63 villages and other habitants of Nadouti tehsil in Karoui district, and 46 enroute villages of Gangapur and Karouli towns of Rajasthan on single responsibility turnkey basis.
SPML Infra has obtained a contract valued at Rs 164.60 crore. The scope of work which includes improvement of the water distribution system; reduction in UFW and leakage control from Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board, is divided into two stages. SPML will execute this project with its JV partner SUEZ Environment, with the implementation of modern technology for leak detection and installing DMA meters along with other initiatives
