Serentica Renewables has selected Envision Energy India to supply wind turbine generators (WTGs) for its upcoming 560 MW wind power project in India.

The project will feature advanced five MW Envision Smart WTGs, with deliveries expected to begin by February 2026. This move underscores Serentica’s focus on delivering round-the-clock green power to industrial consumers across states like Karnataka and Maharashtra. The turbines were chosen for their high reliability and efficiency, aligning with Serentica’s strategy to power energy-intensive sectors sustainably.

Akshay Hiranandani, CEO of Serentica, highlighted that the collaboration would support India’s clean energy goals while ensuring consistent renewable energy supply to industries. RPV Prasad, Managing Director of Envision Energy India, emphasized the project’s role in driving India’s transition to net-zero emissions.

Backed by a $650 million investment from KKR, Serentica aims to deliver over 50 billion units of clean energy annually, helping offset approximately 47 million tonne of CO2 emissions.
