Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister P Narayana reviewed key urban projects with Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) and VMRDA officials, directing them to expedite ongoing works.

The Minister emphasised the importance of completing seven Master Plan roads connecting Visakhapatnam with the upcoming Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport (Bhogapuram) within six months to ensure smooth future traffic flow. He also instructed officials to fast-track infrastructure development in eight MIG housing projects to make layouts ready for occupation, and announced plans to construct a 50-storey tower near Law College and develop a 120-acre theme-based city near Kothavalasa.

Additionally, the new Visakhapatnam Master Plan is progressing on schedule and will be completed within the planned timeframe to guide the city’s long-term growth.
