The Telangana government will set up a super speciality hospital at Paternally, in Nalgonda district.
This will ensure availability of proper medical care on the Hyderabad-Vijaywada highway. On 14 October 2014, Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhara Rao, asked the Deputy CM to prepare a proposal for setting up the hospital with a college attached to it.
During the review meeting, the CM asked the Minor Irrigation Department officials for a road map to repair water tanks across the state. In the next five years, the state needs to repair 9,000 tanks a year to cover all of the 45,000 tanks.
In addition, the CM will personally monitor the development of the five major cities of Hyderabad, Warangal, Karimnagar, Khammam and Nizamabad. Improving infrastructure in the cities is the prime objective.
