Suzlon Energy, the wind turbine manufacturer, has commissioned a 19.5 MW wind
farm project for Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) at the
Maliya-Miyana site in Rajkot district of Gujarat.
The project comprises 13 units of Suzlon's S82-1.5 MW wind turbines.
The Phase I of developing 19.5 MW project is a part of GMDC's strategy to put
up wind power generation capacity of 100 MW involving an investment of Rs 600
crore.
