1. Boolean Searches :

i. AND - Shows results where both terms on either side of the 'AND' operator are present. 'AND' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi AND metro result - It will return records in which 'delhi' as well as 'metro' both are present.

ii. OR - Shows results where either term (or both terms) is present. 'OR' must be in upper case. For example search term - delhi OR metro result - It will return records in which either 'delhi' or 'metro' or both are present

2. Proximity Searches

A proximity search looks for terms that are within a specific distance from one another. For example, search term - 'delhi metro'~10 result - It will search for records where 'delhi' and 'metro' are found within 10 words of each other

3. Phrase searches

You can search phrases using double quotes. for e.g. 'delhi metro' result - It will return records where 'delhi metro' phrase is found.

Suzlon's overseas orderbook nears Rs.5,000 crore

Suzlon Energy, through its wholly-owned subsidiary and international operations arm Suzlon Energy Corporation, on 18 September 2006 received a large order for the supply of wind turbines to John Deere Wind Energy of USA. Suzlon will supply wind turbines with a combined capacity of 247 MW throughout the year 2007 to John Deere. The order is valued at over Rs.1,000 crore.

This order has taken Suzlon Energy's consolidated order book position to Rs.5,777 crore including Rs.4,977 crore of overseas orders and Rs.800 crore of domestic orders.

In early September 2006, Suzlon Energy, once again through its US-based subsidiary, had bagged an order from the Edison Mission Group for the supply of 50 units of Suzlon-made S86 turbines of capacity 2.1 MW each.

Overview of investment programme

Suzlon Energy has planned to invest Rs.1,500 crore in India. Suzlon will invest Rs.750 crore in its existing forging and foundry units in Baroda (Gujarat) and Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu). A greenfield turbine manufacturing facility costing Rs.750 crore is also being planned at Udupi in Karnataka.

The investment will be financed through domestic and international borrowings to the extent of Rs.1,000 crore while Rs.500 crore will come through internal accruals. The Udupi plant will have a manufacturing capacity of 1,500 MW that would take the company's global capacity to 4,200 MW. Suzlon currently has a manufacturing capacity of 2,700 MW that includes 600 MW of installed capacity, each in China and USA.
