Table Space has acquired a 5.5 lakh sq. ft. office space in Bengaluru in a deal valued at Rs 500 crore, marking the brand's shift from leasing to owning model. The company plans to expand its portfolio by another five million sq. ft. in the next 12 to 18 months.
The property 'Kalyani Camellia', in Whitefield (Mahadevpura) area of Bengaluru, will be housed under its sub-brand 'Table Space Towers' (TST) portfolio. The Table Space Towers, Whitefield, is a nine-storey Grade-A and LEED Gold-certified asset. This expansion reinforces its brand strength in the enterprise workspace category.
The first acquisition under the Table Space Towers portfolio was of Panchshil Towers in Kharadi, Pune, spanning over 9,00,000 sq. ft. The Bengaluru-based company is also in talks to acquire an additional 1.2 million sq. ft. from Panchshil Realty to add office assets in key urban centres.
In the fourth quarter of 2022, Table Space raised about USD 325 million from Hill House Capital.
