Water Resources Department, Maharashtra hasissued a tender for the construction of a pipe distribution network and command area development and water management (CADWM) works in Ghodazari canal division, Nagbhid, Maharashtra.
The work under Sub Branch-2 at RD 44300 mtrs. of the Ghodazai Branch and Gadmaushi Minor, aims to create irrigation potential for 3,000 hectares, supporting agricultural development and improving water management in the region. The estimated value of the contract is Rs 125.68 crore, and the work is scheduled to be completed within 18 months, including the monsoon period. The scope of work involves designing and laying an efficient pipeline network along with integrated water management interventions to ensure equitable distribution and optimal utilization of water resources. By enhancing irrigation capacity, the initiative is expected to boost crop productivity, support local farmers, and strengthen the region’s agricultural infrastructure.
