The Jodhpur Development Authority has issued a tender for the design of a complete sewerage system, and development of a new sewage treatment plant (STP) for Jhalamand area in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
The contract, valued at Rs 53.63 crore, focuses on strengthening wastewater management infrastructure to curb pollution in the Jojari River. The work of comprehensive sewerage system, along with establishing a modern 10 million litres per day (MLD) STP has a completion timeline set at 24 months.
This facility is aimed at ensuring effective sewage collection, treatment, and safe disposal, contributing to improved sanitation and environmental sustainability. The initiative aligns with the National River Conservation Plan’s objectives of reducing river pollution and enhancing water quality.
The bid submission closing date is 03 October, 2025.
