SPML Infra, one of India’s leading water infrastructure developers, has been awarded a Rs 1,438 crore project in joint venture with JWIL Infra, where SPML holds the lead with 51 percent.
The contract, signed on 06 September 2025 with the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Bharatpur, Rajasthan, is part of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) and aims to enhance safe and reliable water supply infrastructure for over 1.5 million residents across Dholpur and Saipau blocks. The scope of work includes construction of an intake well, two raw water reservoirs (10 and 12 MCM) on the Chambal River, and a 712 km network of pipelines ranging from 100 mm to 2000 mm in diameter.
Additionally, 21 elevated service reservoirs (ESRs), raw water pumping stations, a 135 MLD water treatment plant (RWR-2), a five MLD plant at Dholpur, cluster pumping stations, CDS, VDS, rising mains, and household tap connections (FHTCs) will be developed. The work also includes 10 years of operations and maintenance (O&M).
