Tiger Logistics (India) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Russia’s H2 Invest to jointly develop advanced infrastructure for the storage and transportation of liquid hydrogen in India.
This strategic partnership marks the first collaboration of its kind between an Indian logistics firm and a global hydrogen technology company. Under the agreement, the two firms will introduce H2 Invest’s CryoSafe container technology to support multimodal transport—via trucks, rail, and ships, across India’s growing hydrogen network. The joint venture aims to enable technology transfer, local manufacturing, and execution of large-scale hydrogen projects, thereby building a resilient hydrogen logistics ecosystem in the country.
Harpreet Singh Malhotra, CMD of Tiger Logistics, emphasised the role of hydrogen as a key driver of India’s clean energy goals. This initiative aligns with the Government of India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission and supports its vision to position India as a global green hydrogen hub, while fostering innovation in sustainable energy logistics.
