Titagarh Rail Systems (TRSL) has inaugurated a new engineering centre in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Envisioned to revolutionise the future of rail transportation, it will also further its innovation and design journey, while contributing to the 'Make-in-India’ and ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative.
The facility will be dedicated to new product development for train control & monitoring systems (TCMS) and advanced propulsion systems. The centre will also play a key role in executing TRSL’s current and upcoming rolling stock and propulsion projects, such as Ahmedabad Metro and Vande Bharat. Outfitted with cutting-edge technology and infrastructure, it is designed to foster collaboration among TRSL’s engineers and designers. The company anticipates hiring a large number of experienced engineers in the designated disciplines, to make the centre function as an innovation hub.
In its commitment to implementing cutting-edge rail technology, the new centre marks a key step towards the vision of making indigenous metro coaches to strengthen the country’s local transportation.
