Titagarh Rail Systems has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) from Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW), marking a significant milestone in its railway manufacturing portfolio.
The contract involves the complete shell assembly for WAG-9HC locomotives, with a total order value of Rs 91.12 crore, inclusive of GST. This development reinforces Titagarh’s strong presence in the locomotive manufacturing sector and reflects its capability to handle large-scale, high-value projects in collaboration with Indian Railways.
The order will be executed within a defined timeframe, with completion scheduled by 31 August, 2026.
