BEML has received an order worth approx. Rs 1,888 crore from Integral Coach Factory (ICF).

The contract inolves the manufacture, supply, testing and commissioning of complete fully functional LHB coaches. The scope involves end-to-end execution — from manufacturing and supply to rigorous testing and commissioning, ensuring the coaches meet stringent safety and performance standards.

Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches, known for their superior speed, ride comfort, and safety, are increasingly being adopted across Indian Railways’ premium services. The company will leverage its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and proven engineering capabilities to complete the project within the stipulated timeline, contributing to enhanced passenger experience and efficiency in India’s rail network. 

 The order underscores BEML’s growing role in India’s railway modernisation drive and its expertise in delivering advanced passenger rolling stock.
