Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam has invited bids for the development of water supply infrastructure under Agra Water Supply Re-Organisation Scheme (Trans Yamuna Zone-I & II) – Package 2, as part of the AMRUT 2.0 programme.
The scope of work on a turnkey basis, covers surveying, soil investigation, engineering, and construction of key water supply facilities, including RCC overhead tanks (OHTs), zonal pumping stations (ZPSs), clear water reservoirs (CWRs), pumping stations, rising and feeder mains, distribution systems, and automation through SCADA. Additional works include a chlorination room, meter room, panel room, staff quarters, boundary walls, and site development.
Valued at Rs 185.49 crore, the contract also entails a three-month trial run, followed by a defect liability period of 12 months for civil works and 24 months for electrical and mechanical (E/M) works.
