Vishnu Prakash R Punglia (VPRPL) has announced that the VPRPL-SBEL JV has been awarded a significant contract by the competent authority.

The contract, valued at Rs 2,696.85 million, involves infrastructure development from Mandpiya to Chanderiya as part of the Ajmer-Chanderiya doubling project under the North Western Railway. The contract covers formation works, including earthwork in embankments, cutting, and blanketing, alongside bridge construction, such as important, major, and minor bridges, road under bridges, limited height subways, foot over bridges, trolley refuges, toe walls, retaining walls, pitching, and side drains. It also includes building works for station structures, service buildings, platform shelters, and staff quarters related to civil and traction distribution.

Additionally, P. Way works encompass ballast supply, P.Way material transportation, broad gauge track laying and linking, along with other miscellaneous tasks, including electrical (General) Works. This contract marks a crucial step in the railway infrastructure enhancement of the Ajmer division, reinforcing the company's role in large-scale railway construction.
