Wonderla Holidays, India's premier amusement park chain, has announced the opening of its most project yet, Wonderla Chennai.

Spanning 64.30 acres (37 acres developed), this park is a fusion of futuristic innovation and ancient Tamil architecture. Located along Chennai’s Old Mahabalipuram Road, it represents a significant investment of over Rs 611 crore. The park, set to officially open on 02 December, 2025, will be inaugurated by Chief Minister MK Stalin on 01 December, 2025.

With 43 world-class rides across various categories, Wonderla Chennai is designed to accommodate up to 6,500 visitors daily. At a press conference, Arun K Chittilappilly (Executive Chairman), Dheeran Choudhary (COO), Ajikrishnan A G (VP-Engineering), and Vyshakh Ravindran (Park Head – Chennai) announced this. Wonderla Chennai features 43 world-class rides across thrill, family, kids, and water categories, catering to 6,500 visitors daily.
