Work on the Orissa Metaliks’ Nayagarh project is likely to begin by June 2017.
The company plans to set up a pellets unit with a capacity of 2.1 million tpa (3 x 0.7 million tpa) at Nayagarh village, Jumpura taluka, in Keonjhar district of Odisha.
The project, spreading over 6.9 ha of land, will include a producer gas plant with a capacity of 1,12,500 N. cu mtr per hour (15 x 7,500 N. cu mtr per hour).
The project, entailing an investment of Rs 200 crore, has received the terms of reference (ToR) from the environment ministry.
