YEIDA is set to acquire the remaining 94 acres for the Apparel Park project in Sector-29, aiming to expand the region's garment manufacturing capacity.
Out of the 175 acres earmarked for the project, 81 acres have already been allotted, with construction work underway. The Park is expected to create over 3,00,000 employment opportunities, with 70 percent of them reserved for women. The Park will house a complete apparel manufacturing value chain, boosting efficiency and reducing costs for exporters. The project's strategic location near the Noida International Airport has attracted interest from textile and garment manufacturers seeking enhanced logistics and global connectivity.
YEIDA has also plans for a new allotment scheme after the acquisition and is focused on building essential infrastructure, including roads and facilities such as design studios and testing labs. The region, already a major garment manufacturing hub, will further enhance its status as a key industry centre.
