Rajendra Dardaji, Minister for Industries, Employment and Self-employment,
Maharshtra, inaugurated on 14 January 2010, ZF India's new manufacturing plant
at Nanekarwadi, Pune. ZF India is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Germany based ZF
Group.
The plant spread over 50,000 sq ft has a capacity to manufacture 1 lakh
numbers per annum of offroad vehicle axles and transmission assembly. The
facility marks the launch of rear axle for the backhoe loader application, to be
followed by full power shift transmissions for backhoe loader application.
