The empowered Group of Ministers (eGoM)
on 22 June 2005 cleared the transaction document on the basis of which the eight
short-listed parties will submit their bids for the modernisation and
restructuring of the Delhi and Mumbai airports.
The revised offer document will be
examined by the Law Ministry before being sent to bidders. The document will be
made available to the bidders in the next two weeks, who will get another two
weeks to put in their bids.
The civil aviation ministry is hopeful
of announcing the successful consortium for both the airports by mid-September
2005.
