The GMR-Fraport consortium has
appointed Mott MacDonald as a leading technical advisor for modernising Delhi
airport with an investment of Rs.60 crore and Mott MacDonald in turn has
appointed HOK International as the architect to design the airport.
The consultant will be required to
submit a master development plan to Airport Authority of India by September
2006. The plan will be then implemented subject to AAI approval.
Mott MacDonald will also help GMR
float the tender inviting civil construction companies to bid for building the
new airport.
