Rs.1,500 crore in India. Suzlon will invest Rs.750 crore in its existing forging
and foundry units in Baroda (Gujarat) and Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu). A greenfield
turbine manufacturing facility costing Rs.750 crore is also being planned at
Udupi in Karnataka.
The investment will be financed
through domestic and international borrowings to the extent of Rs.1,000 crore

have a manufacturing capacity of 1,500 MW that would take the company's global
capacity to 4,200 MW. Suzlon currently has a manufacturing capacity of 2,700 MW
that includes 600 MW of installed capacity, each in China and USA.
