bagged two orders valued at about Rs.383 crore for the following
- 2 x 25 MW coal / petcoke based captive power
project to be set up by a cement major. [contract value: Rs. 243 crore].
- 1 x 25 MW coal / petcoke based captive power
project to be set up another cement major. [contract value: Rs.140 crore].
The plants will use CFBC boilers using coal and washery middling that shall
be being generated from the coal washery being set up by the user. With this
the current fiscal order booking exceeds 250 MW of captive power plants
valued at about Rs.1,000 crore.
- Hindustan Dorr-Oliver along
with China Aluminium International Engineering
Corporation bagged an order worth Rs.200 crore from Vedanta
Alumina for the fume treatment plant in Orissa with a completion
period of 20 months. HDO also bagged an order from Reliance Energy for fuel
gas desulphurisation plant at its 2x250 MW coal-based power unit at Dahanu
in Maharashtra.

an order from Biowanze SA, a subsidiary
of CropEnergies AG (a Sudzucker Group Company) for licence, basic
engineering and other services for thier proposed 3,00,000 cubic metres per
annum bio-ethanol complex at Wanze in Belgium. The scope of work involves
the core bio-ethanol process plant comprising liquefaction, fermentation,
multi-pressure distilation, dehydration and vinasse evaporation. Phase I
order value is approximately 11 crore.
