Subhash Projects & Marketing will
focus on urban infrastructure projects funded through Jawaharlal Nehru National
Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) during 2007-08, a company statement said.
The statement adds that SPML has
secured cumulative orders worth Rs.353.60 crore in areas covering water, power
and environment management.
The company's current order book, to
be liquidated over the next 14-21 months, includes the following:
- Water: Three projects from
Delhi Jal Board (DJB) and Japanese Bank of International Cooperation (JBIC)
funded PHED, Jaipur with a contract value of Rs.133.99 crore and Rs.99.63
crore respectively.
- Power: rural electrification
project in the Ganjam and Gajpati districts of Orissa with contract value of
Rs.49.36 crore and Rs.31.8 crore respectively, awarded by National
Hydroelectric Power Corporation.
- Environment: A contract
worth Rs.38.82 crore for a 70 mld sewage treatment plant at Agar Takali of
Nashik Municipal Corporation. The scope of work includes designing,
constructing, supply, erection, testing, commissioning, start up and
performance run for the sewage treatment plant and sewage pumping station,
followed by five years of operations & maintenance. (project

In a company statement, Subhash Sethi
said "Water management, environment and rural electrification are our core
competencies and we intend growing at a rapid pace in these segments in the next
few years. These new projects, moreover, will help improving our bottomlines
substantially in the next three quarters of the current fiscal".
