• BHEL bagged an order worth Rs.240 crores from Coastal Gujarat Power's upcoming 4,000 MW (5x800 MW) ultra mega power project at Mundra in Gujarat. The scope of work includes the supply of 40 transformers, with a total capacity of 5872 MVA, three phase transformer banks, busducts, for 800 MW thermal sets in two stages. (project details)
   

• Alphageo,India bagged an order worth Rs.43.69 crore from ONGC to provide seismic data. The company bagged the contract over a period of two seasons in Nagaland. LoA dated 21 November has been issued to the company.
   

• Petron Engineering Construction bagged a contract worth Rs.67.28 crore  from Engineers India for composite mechanical works for implementation of EURO-IV project of Chennai Petroleum Corporation. (project details)

• Kirby Building Systems bagged an order worth Rs.70 crore order from the Tata Motors small car greenfield project for the construction of manufacturing facilities coming up at Sanand in Gujarat. The project is under rapid execution mode, encompassing facilities for assembly, engine, weld and press shops with a total built-up area of about 10 lakh sq ft. • Maharashtra Seamless bagged an order worth Rs.757 crore from Oil & Natural Gas Corporation for supply of seamless casing pipes. The delivery will commence immediately and will complete within 15 months.

• Power System Solutions, a division of KLG Systel bagged an order woth Rs.132 crore from Punjab State Electricity Board under Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vidyutikaran Yojna for design, engineering, erection and commissioning of 11 KV lines, 25 KVA substations and release of about 1.48 lakh new connections to below poverty line households.

• C&C Constructions in JV with  BSCPL Infrastructure bagged an order worth $ 26.94 million ( approx Rs.635 crore) from  Central Public Works Department, Government of India to construct the Parliament and a new Indian Chancery in Kabul, Afghanistan. The Afghan Parliament will be built in 36 months and the Indian Chancery within 16 months.

• GEI Industrial Systems bagged an export order worth Rs.24.50 crore from Houston based Caterpiller Co for supply of process gas coolers and gas coolers for compressor station being set up by Oman Gas Co at Nimr in Oman.

• TMK, Russia bagged a contract to supply pipes from Oil & Natural Gas Corporation. Under the deal, TMK will supply ONGC with around 20,000 tpa of seamless casing pipe over the next two years and the pipes will be produced at the company's Volzhsky mill.
