Maytas Infra,
Hyderabad in consortium with Larsen & Toubro and Kirloskar Brothers Ltd bagged an
order worth Rs.169.5 crore from the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and
Sewerage Board for the Godavari Drinking Water Supply Scheme.
The project will be
executed in Kondapak and Ghanpur along the Karimnagar road near Hyderabad. The
scope of work of the contract involves construction of a clear water reservoir
of 80 million ltrs capacity at Kondapak, a master balancing reservoir of 150
million ltrs capacity at Ghanpur, electrical sub-station at Kondapak for the
clear water pumping station, including required transformers with 100 per cent
standby with associated appurtenances and power lines.
Maytas Infra was
earlier awarded a Rs 44.88 crore contract for providing water supply
distribution system in Gajuwaka area of Visakhapatnam district in by the Greater
Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation.
