Kalpataru Power Transmission has won an order worth Rs.385 crore from
Hindustan Mittal Energy, a JV of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation and L.N. Mittal
Group, for laying of approx 550 km of 28"/30"/48" pipeline as Part A of
Mundra-Bhatinda Pipeline Project for transportation of crude oil from Mundra to
Guru Govind Singh Refinery at Bhatinda.
The scope of work also includes one pumping cum Intermediate Pigging (IP)
Station at Dhansa, two IP stations, 17 SV stations and one Dispatch station at
Kot which involves all civil, electrical, piping, and mechanical and
instrumentation work.
The starting point of the pipeline starts at Kot near Mundra in Gujarat and
ends at Jhanwar (approx. 30 km south of Jodhpur) in Rajasthan. The project has
to be executed in three spreads and is to be completed in 18 months from the
date of award.
