Thermax has secured orders for municipal sewage treatment plants worth Rs 155
crore. The orders are for 14 plants in Maharashtra and Jammu & Kashmir, which
once completed are expected to treat 160 million liters per day of city sewage.
Thermax's FAB Technology will be used for most of the project locations,
while for others SBR Technology, recently sourced through a tie-up with a German
company, will be used. These plants will ensure consistent treated water output,
meeting Pollution Control Board norms.
