Azure Power is likely to set up a 15 MW solar photovoltaic project in Gujarat
for which it had signed an agreement with the Gujarat Government recently.
The proposed plant is to come up at Dahegam near Gandhinagar at an investment
of around Rs 255 crore. The company has identified 75 acre for the project and
the plant is slated to be commissioned by 2011. Currently, Azure is negotiating
with the state government for PPA to supply power to the state.
