The Adani Group has launched a new company, Sultanganj Sabour Road (SSRL), with an initial investment of Rs 1,00,000 to incorporate the subsidiary to develop the Ganga Path connecting Sultanganj-Bhagalpur-Sabour in Bihar.
This project will be implemented through a public-private partnership (PPP) model. SSRL will focus on the construction of key road infrastructure, with the Ganga Path project estimated at Rs 4,450.17 crore. Adani Enterprises (AEL) has been awarded the lowest bid for the project, costing 19.95 percent above the estimated value at Rs 5,338 crore. The formation of SSRL reflects the Group's strategic push into India's growing infrastructure sector.
AEL aims to streamline operations and capitalise on road development opportunities. The Adani Group, known for its success in infrastructure, is also behind major railway projects both in India and abroad.
