Adani Enterprises, through its joint venture AdaniConneX, has partnered with Google to develop India's largest AI data centre campus in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
This USD 15 billion initiative, planned for 2026-2030, aims to establish GW-scale data centre operations powered by renewable energy and supported by a subsea cable network, addressing India’s growing AI computing demands. Developed with collaboration from Airtel, the project includes significant investments in clean energy generation, transmission lines, and energy storage, aligning with regional and national sustainability goals.

The AI hub will provide advanced infrastructure to boost India’s AI ecosystem, supporting compute-intensive tasks such as neural network training and large-scale AI model inference. The partnership is expected to create tens of thousands of emplyment opportunities in technology, construction, and clean energy sectors, while enhancing India’s digital inclusion and AI capabilities.
