Ashoka Buildcon has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) from North Western Railway, reinforcing its strong position in the infrastructure sector.
The scope of work covers design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning for the upgradation of the existing electric traction system from 1 x 25 kV to 2 x 25 kV. The contract worth Rs 499.95 crore spans across multiple sections of the Jaipur Division, namely RE-AWR-BKI, BKI-JP, JP-FL-MD, and RE-RGS-FL, covering a total of 581.43 route kilometers (RKM) and 1210.82 track kilometers (TKM).
This project also includes modification of the existing overhead equipment (OHE) to support train operations at speeds of up to 160 kmph. The work aligns with Indian Railways’ broader modernization and electrification goals, enhancing efficiency, safety, and speed on key corridors.
