The East Coast Railway has invited bids for a key infrastructure work under the Koraput-Singapur Road Doubling Project in Andhra Pradesh.
Valued at Rs 383.36 crore, the contract covers the construction of six tunnels (T5 & T6, T7, T8, T9 & T10, T11, and T12), along with associated illumination and allied works. The project site is located between Tikiri (km 83.065) and Rauli (km 95.250) stations, a critical stretch for enhancing rail connectivity and capacity.
To be executed on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode, the work aims to strengthen rail infrastructure to support faster train operations and improve freight movement in the region. This development is part of Indian Railways’ broader focus on modernizing key routes, easing congestion, and meeting the rising demand for passenger and goods transportation in eastern India. The completion timeline is set at 30 months.
The bid submission deadline is 31 October, 2025.
