Avigna Group, a prominent player in South India's logistics sector, has inaugurated a stateof-the-art Industrial and Logistics Park in Angamaly, near Kochi, with a Rs 150 crore investment.
This marks the Group's first venture in Kerala. The facility, spread across 21.35 acres with a built-up area of five lakh sq. ft., is designed to enhance the state's logistics infrastructure. Avigna Group, which operates similar parks in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh, has a legacy of over 50 years and also has diverse interests in textiles, education, and real estate.
The Park's opening was attended by Kerala's State Industries Minister P Rajeeve, who assured the government’s support for skill development initiatives to help local communities, such as Kudumbashree, secure employment. Additionally, the government has revised rules to support small enterprises, allowing residential properties to be used for business purposes, thus encouraging local entrepreneurship.
