Kerala's Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has announced the signing of a Rs 850-crore foreign direct investment (FDI) deal with UAE-based Al Marzooqi Holdings for the development of the Meridian Tech Park project in Technopark Phase III.
The project is designed for sustainability and collaboration, aiming to create employment for over 10,000 people. It marks a significant step in Kerala’s vision of becoming a global innovation hub. The tech park will not only boost the IT sector but also transform Kerala’s employment landscape. The project will feature an AI laboratory, enabling even small companies to harness artificial intelligence capabilities.
CM Vijayan emphasised that the project represents a new milestone in the state's technological growth and global presence, driving both vertical development and expanding its footprint in the global tech ecosystem.
