Bengal Aerotropolis
Projects (BAPL) is likely to develop an aerotropolis project on 2,700 acre in
Ludhiana. BAPL has signed an MoU with the Punjab government for the airport city
project.
The proposed project will
comprise of an international airport, and a modern township that will spread over 500
acre. Besides, there are plans afoot to build commercial institutions and
recreational infrastructure on 320 acre. IMRB International has carried out a
detailed study on the need and potential for an international airport in
Ludhiana.
