Bengaluru-based Brigade Group has signed a lease agreement for a seven-acre prime site in Chennai’s Tharamani–Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR) corridor to develop a large mixed-use project. 

According to a regulatory filing, the development will feature over one million sq. ft. of Grade A office space along with a 225-key 5-star deluxe hotel. Strategically located in Chennai’s IT and innovation hub, the project will benefit from proximity to global technology firms, leading educational institutions, healthcare facilities, retail centres, and residential communities. 

Pradyumna Krishna Kumar, Executive Director of Brigade Enterprises, stated that the project aligns with the company’s long-term growth strategy and reflects its vision of creating high-value, future-ready assets that enhance Chennai’s urban and commercial ecosystem. This move follows Brigade’s June announcement of its Rs 2,100 crore residential project, Brigade Morgan Heights, in South Chennai’s Sholinganallur–Medavakkam corridor, spread across 14.7 acres with 2.2 million sq. ft. of premium apartments.
