The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) has issued an EPC-mode tender valued at Rs 133.79 crore for the construction of multiple infrastructure components at IIT Mandi, Kamand, Himachal Pradesh.
The scope of work includes the design and construction of a 401-bed girls’ hostel (G+5), an academic block (G+3), and a hostel for married research scholars and project employees (lower ground & G+3 configuration). Additionally, the work covers a utility and electrical substation (ESS) block, as well as site development including electrical and mechanical (E&M) services. The EPC contract is to be executed on a design-and-build basis. The initiative is aligned with the institute’s goal to improve campus facilities and support academic excellence.
