Italian transmission system maker, Carraro, has set up a new research and development centre along with roll out of new transmission line at the Ranjanagaon plant near Pune.
The company has invested one million euros (approx Rs 8.42 crore) for this facility. Carraro will make transmission systems for tractors, agro and construction equipment from this plant. It has also launched the agricultural transmissions system T10 range with an annual capacity of 5,000 units. The collective annual capacity of this plant is 42,000 units.
Carraro has production plants in Italy, India, Argentina, China, Germany and the United States.
