Cyient has commenced operations from the incubation centre of the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) in Warangal.

The company opened a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in TSIIC, in order to help its communications business expand operations for its global client base. Cyient will carry out fiber and coaxial network planning and design, RF planning, geospatial services and solutions for the company’s Smart City engagements, etc.

The company has also laid the foundation stone for a technology development centre in Warangal, in the Madikonda Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of TSIIC. The centre, on 70,000 sq ft area, will become operational within the next 18 to 24 months. Once operational, the company will redevelop operations in the region by employing about 1,000 professionals. The facility, spread over five acre, will support the company’s worldwide digital technology initiatives in areas like Analytics, Smart Cities and Internet of Things.
