DBL-PSP joint venture (JV) has been declared the L-1 bidder (lowest) for a major infrastructure project floated by the Kerala Industrial Corridor Development Corporation.
The scope of work involves the design, construction, testing, commissioning, and operation & maintenance of infrastructure works at Pudussery Central and Kannambra in the Palakkad node of Kerala. It falls under the extension of the Chennai–Bengaluru Industrial Corridor (CBIC) to Kochi via Coimbatore and will be executed on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis. The total cost, is Rs 1,115.37 crore, with a completion timeline of 42 months.
The project is expected to significantly boost industrial connectivity and development in Kerala by linking it more efficiently to key industrial hubs in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. With the L1 declaration, DBL-PSP JV has strengthened its presence in the infrastructure sector, particularly in strategic industrial corridor development that aligns with India’s larger goal of enhancing logistics and manufacturing competitiveness.
